I am in the fifth grade.

I’ve been attending ECC since I was 5 because I love English, and this year marks my seventh year. Last year, I worked hard and passed the Eiken Grade 4 exam when I was in the fourth grade.

The reason I applied this time was partly because I love English, but also because I admired my favorite player, Otani, and wanted to study abroad. I didn’t want to miss that chance.

I have been a big fan since Shohei Ohtani played for the Angels, and I even went to see the WBC game against Italy all the way from Hokkaido. I got so absorbed in the game that time flew by. The memories of that day are treasures for a lifetime.

My future dream is to become a doctor. The reason is that my mother used to be a nurse, and I wanted to become a doctor to cure my grandmother’s illness.

If I become a doctor, I’ll need English proficiency to increase my knowledge. I want to go to America to test my current English skills.

I’m curious about American culture along with English. I want to know what kind of games they play and what kind of studies kids in the same grade are doing, for example.

Since it’s my first time going abroad, I’m looking forward to hearing real English. I’m also curious about the time difference.

If I can study abroad, I want to try my best to speak a lot of English. And most importantly, I want to enjoy it without any regrets.
